Seller’s Statement Regarding Facility Yield Potential
While the type of marijuana strains grown, the skill of the grower and a myriad of other variables greatly impacts marijuana production yields, when fully built out, this indoor marijuana production facility could easily accommodate approximately 500 flowering marijuana plants in various stages of their fruiting cycle and yield about 900 pounds of sellable marijuana flower per year.
Currently, plants flower about every 60 days. Harvest and cleanup time per room is running about six days, so total time per harvest is currently 66 days, resulting in about 5 1/2 harvests per room, per year.
At 5.5 harvests a year, we anticipate 2,750 plants harvested annually. A conservative yield estimate of approximately 150 grams per plant results in 412,500 grams a year, or about 900 pounds annually and an average of about 75 pounds a month.
If you prefer to view yield in the context of pounds-per-light, the above yield estimate translates into about 2.3 pounds per light for our 72-light model.
Trim is not included in this calculation and yield is usually a combination of A and B bud and that mix is dependent on training, strains and vegging time.
