The second structure (400 sq ft) is used for the vegetative cycle. Mother plants and clones are in the “clone” room. Once clones are transplanted, they are moved to the “Veg” room. Clone room uses the T5 fluorescent grow lights while the “Veg” room uses LED grow lights. Once plants are ready to “flower” they are moved into the main building.

LED light system changes light spectrum to force blooming and eliminates need to move plants from Veg to Flower areas… just change your timers!

Lighting. Platinum LED (40) and Kind LED (4) lights are used for Veg and Flower cycle. These lights use 1/3rd the power of traditional HP/MH lights. They are using 230V power, so all lights use 1.3 amps in Veg and 2.3 amps in Flower. All of the lights are still under warranty. The Platinum LED’s have 4 more years on their warranty, the Kind LED’s have 2 more years. The manufacturer estimates the lights as lasting a total of 10 years before needing replacement. T5 grow lights are used in the Clone room.

Electric bill is between $1500 – $1600 a month.

Security. Each building meets OLCC security requirements. Cannaguard monitors and operates the onsite alarm system. If alarms are tripped, Cannaguard will first contact owner and then police department. The system connects with the Cannaguard monitoring department via cell tower, so if someone was to try and cut a phone line, the alarm system still communicates with Cannaguard. The security system also has back up power in case of a power failure.

Exterior doors are commercial grade steel with steel frames. They each have keyless commercial grade handles with keypad. Doors automatically lock once door is closed. After entering each building, you will be in a “holding room” where another set of steel doors with keypad entry is required. Once through the second set of doors, you are now in the grow space.

Each room is under video surveillance, including exterior doors and holding areas. There are a total of 15 cameras, with night vision. System is customizable. Runs on a iDVR setup, with a 24 Terabyte hard drive. It backs up all cameras, 24/7 for a total of 3.5 – 4 months (OLCC requirement is 3 months of backup). System allows you to view all cameras (live and archived) remotely from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Front gate to property remains locked at all times.
